The Issues
#1: (Lack of positive mentors)
An estimated 16 million Kids ages 8-18 in local urban communities are not getting the outlets, structure, or oversight the need to thrive and excel. During the day, after-school and when idle youth are falling through the cracks, not living up to their potential, wasting their talents, and unfortunately some are losing their lives. The short comings in the education system creates hardships for students, i.e., "The School-to-Prison Pipeline". Local schools are being affected by poor attendance and low performance scores. This is a huge and scary issue that many want a solution and would pay to have this issue resolved.
#2 (Disengaged youth)
In the U.S., the number of disengaged youth (those who are not actively engaged in school or the workforce) between the ages 16-24 is currently at least 6.7 million. Several root factors are transforming a social issue into a economic cost to cultures, the government and society as a whole.
Let's be honest kids are bored with traditional learning, so we offer a spin on education! Our solution, a HYPE Mentorship Program, to strategically increase Character and Career developments by influencing new and current assets, while preserving creative control to elect effective and operational strategies to reform traditional education.
